Notebooks for tomorrow.

Beginnings deserve clean pages.

why this exists ↓

In tribal village schools, children share notebooks. Pencils are rationed. Geometry boxes are nonexistent. We deliver new, branded supplies to the start of every school year — enough for the full year. The supplies arrive a week before the term begins.

I wrote my name on every page. Even the back cover. The teacher said it was too much. I wrote it anyway.

Meera is in Class 3. Last year her notebook was a folded newspaper. This year, on the first day of term, she received a kit — five lined notebooks, three plain ones, six pencils, an eraser, a sharpener, a wooden ruler, a small geometry box. She sat under the mango tree at lunch and wrote her name on the front cover of every notebook. Then she turned to the back cover and wrote it again. Then she opened to the first page and wrote it once more. The teacher gently told her to stop. She did, for that day. The next morning she was found writing her name on the wooden ruler.

I save the geometry box for the end of the year. So it stays new.

Questions, asked plainly.

No. The notebooks have a small "Donated by" line on the inside back cover with the donor's name (if you choose). The front is plain so the child can decorate it themselves.
